How it works
Provide a 5-1, wraparound, group mentorship model that is evidence-based for student athletes at McLain, Central and Monroe.
Up-skill/support coaches through training and stipends to better-support Black and brown boys in sports.
Incentivize classroom performance/improvement, attendance, behavior, and community service.
Facilitate quarterly life-skill/leadership development opportunities with early college and career exposure and community service opportunities.
MBK will evaluate students based on academic progress, behavior, social-emotional well-being, and community service to determine their eligibility for incentive-based opportunities.
